What is a series circuit? Components of an electrical circuit or electronic circuit can be connected in series, parallel, or series-parallel. In a series circuit, the current that flows through each of the components is the same, and the voltage across the circuit is the sum of the individual voltage drops across each component.

The induced electromotive force is caused by a change in the magnetic flux linking the coils of an inductor.

What is inductive voltage? In electromagnetism and electronics, inductance is the tendency of an electrical conductor to oppose a change in the electric current flowing through it. Well, I think, capacitor bank supplies reactive power and hence, it cannot be classified as capacitive load. Reactance of capacitor bank is 23 ohms.

Therefore, the current drawn by the system would be 10 A. Negative VAR or 2. So, this negative reading indicates that, the power is actually flowing from capacitor bank to the generator.
