Timon pauses the movie Timon: Pumbaa, where's the grub? Pumbaa spits out the bug Timon: sighs You can't just help yourself, can ya? I mean, what's supposed to be so inappropriate about that word that you dhoulsn't say it in fron of the kids? I mean, it's not like it's a curse word or anything actually disgusting.
I mean, even in the "funny" category of the word's possible means. It would be another thing if Pumbaa was about to actually fart. Really, that joke was probably targetted at kids age or something. No offense to anyone older who might have find it especially funny. To each their own and so on. You said the reason in your answer. The kids would dwell on that line, not letting it go or forgetting about it. They would continually sing that line nonstop, perhaps making farting noises in the process.
It seems add that OP would change one and not the other if they actually paid attention to your comment. He was going to say, "farted. Pumbaa: Oh, sorry I wondered this for the longest time, but then I listened to the song on YouTube again recently and figured it out :. I don't understand why they changed it it's not like farted is a bad word. In the original movie he says it and it's not like kids grew up sweating by using the word "farted".
